If there’s a new Fort Worth hot spot, we’ve likely been there for one of our happy hours. What we really discover at our meetups is that we’re a thriving network of unique, energetic, and enthusiastic advertising and marketing professionals.
AAF Happy Hours are so much more than meeting up at the newest drinking hole. You’ll meet top professionals at local agencies or corporate leaders who might shape your career for years to come. Getting to know one another reaps priceless benefits whether you’re a student, young professional, or established veteran in the business.

Here’s where all the magic happens. Joining AAF connects you with the local and national advertising and marketing community. That means networking events, cutting-edge educational programs, and some pretty stout discounts with participating companies. Keep up with current advertising and marketing trends and the people who make our industry stand out.
With an AAF membership, you get:
- Access to your industry peers, events, and programs
- The latest advertising and marketing news
- Legislative updates and AAF lobbying efforts
- Discounts to conferences and conventions
- Special discounts for services ranging from subscriptions to shipping to car rentals
As our industry’s voice, AAF represents the interests of our profession through the grassroots influence of our 40,000-plus members. That means lobbying and being a part of the legislative process to ensure that laws being passed are in the best interest of the advertising and marketing community — protecting what you’re passionate about.
Executive — $480 annually
Even if you skip a few meetings, you’ll save money with this level of membership. The fee includes your local, district, and national dues (regularly $185), plus the cost of meals at regular monthly luncheons ($220), and it includes two tickets to the prestigious American Advertising Awards event (valued at over $130). And the cost is typically fully deductible as a business expense (a great perk for the self-employed).
Professional — $185 annually
Perfect level for dedicated professionals who might not be able to make every luncheon or event (someone has to take care of those demanding clients who pay the bills). Under this plan, meals are paid at the door. The fee includes local, district, and national dues. (Check with your tax adviser; typically the dues portion can be expensed fully, but meals under this plan are only 50 percent deductible.)
Corporate — $1,000 annually
Corporate membership includes five memberships valued at $1,220 — one executive membership and four professional memberships. Corporate membership also provides meal pricing at member rates for all employees of the corporate member organization (member meals are $20 vs. $35 for guest meals). Custom options are also available to add or upgrade additional professional or executive members under this plan.
Member cost is $20 with reservations and $25 without reservations; non-members pay $35 with reservations and $40 without reservations. Please contact us here for more information.
We place a high value on those aspiring to join the ranks of our profession. AAF - Fort Worth has programs at four local universities: Texas Christian University, Texas Wesleyan University, The University of North Texas, and The University of Texas at Arlington.
We encourage students to get involved with AAF - Fort Worth because it’s a great way to connect with local professionals and agencies. AAF’s programs include:
- Internship opportunities
- Career guides
- Industry mentors
- Networking with top agency and corporate recruiters
