AAF Fort Worth American Advertising Awards 2021

Bad Year - Great Work 2021

Last year was ... not good. But you wouldn't know it from the quality of the work. Show us how you perfected the art of the virtual brainstorm, designed an amazing website while home schooling, or just generally told 2020 to GTFO -- you had work to do.

  • Friday, December 18, 2020 - Early Entry Deadline by midnight

  • Friday, January 15, 2020 - Final Entry Deadline by 5pm

  • January 16-24, 2021 - Online Judging

  • February 2020 - ADDY Gala and Awards Ceremony (watch for details)

  • The Pivot (aka The Ross Geller Award)

This award recognizes the fine art of turning on a dime to create COVID-19-inspired work that was relevant and effective without capitalizing on the crisis.

  • Canceled by COVID

Work that was thisclose to launch before hitting a big coronavirus-shaped wall gets its due in this category.

  • Local Flavor

Whether it's promoting a locally based brand or celebrating the city itself, it’s all Fort Worth, all the time in this special category.

  • How It Started / How It’s Going

Rebranding, repositioning or re-websiting (you know what we mean) gets recognized in this category, as long as you take us on the journey from there to here.

  • The Do-Over

This category lets you call a mulligan on work that you entered in the past that SHOULD have won something but didn’t. Because everything deserves a second chance.

Entry fees remain the same as last year. Save by submitting your entries in December!

Early Entry Fees/SUBMIT BY December 18, 2020
    • Professional Members – $90 single, $105 campaigns

Final Entry Fees/SUBMIT BY January 15, 2021

    • Professional Non-Members – $155 single, $170 campaigns
    • Students – $55 both single and campaign entries

If you are planning to submit 4 or more entries and are
not a member of AAF-Fort Worth, you really should join

  • You’ll save $45/entry by being a member

  • 4 entries x $45 = $180

  • 1 professional membership in AAF-Fort Worth = $185

  • It doesn’t take the IRS to figure out that what you save on four entries will pay for all but $5 of your membership – and any entries after that are just money in your pocket! Not only that, but you’ll get so much by becoming a member!  Some of the benefits of membership include personal and professional development through regular meetings and workshops; networking opportunities; a voice in legislative issues; and member discounts on business-related services.

Here’s what to do:

  • Before you enter the ADDYs, go to aaffortworth.com. Click on CONNECT, then select MEMBERSHIP from the drop-down menu.

  • Select the type of membership you prefer (we used the professional membership in this example), complete the screens and pay for your membership.

  • Then go to the entry site and select “member” when setting up your entrant profile. It’s that easy!
